Hello, welcome to The Cambridge Centre for Languages! CCL is a friendly and fun place for students from all over the world to come and develop their English.
Cambridge is a wonderful place to study and get to know new friends and our social activity programmes are enjoyed by everyone. Our students really like our dedicated teaching team who make sure you make lots of progress.
Our Mission
Established in 1982, CCL has a reputation for providing quality English language courses for learners of all nationalities.
We aspire to follow the aims of language learning defined by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe:
To facilitate communication and interaction among young people of different languages
To promote international understanding and cooperation
To overcome prejudice and discrimination
To help young people to achieve a wider and deeper understanding of different ways of life, forms of thought and cultural heritage
Our Purpose
To create an international environment where our students learn about the life and cultural heritage not only of Britain, but also other countries
To improve the overall performance of the student’s English by placing special emphasis on communication skills (communicative syllabus)
To enable the students to grow in self-confidence and self-reliance
To help the students to mature in respect of: Communication, International living, Self-development
